This is a refreshing month as August was more restrictive. But take care that too much is not done all at once. Focus on one thing at a time as the influences of this month might cause you to race ahead. Use good judgement as you build your life this month.

If you were a farmer, then this month you would be pruning your plants. It’s important to prune this month so your life does not get out of control, whether in thought or in action. This allows you to stay strong by not wasting energy on unnecessary growth.

2010's Emphasis: Tender Shoots Begin To Appear

This year starts out with wonderful promise, as it is a time of new growth. You notice success in the new venture you started in your 1 year cycle.

This can be, relatively speaking, a very good year financially but it is inclined to be too promising and in your optimism you are inclined to spend too much and live too lavishly thus saving no money. As they say, money will come in one pocket and go right out the other.

This is the year of luck and you might find yourself in a situation that offers a change near the end of the year. But, it might not be wise for you to follow through with this change. As you head into next year, you need stability and choosing or accepting the change later in this year can potentially lead to instability.

This year is best described as the seeds (thoughts and ideas) you planted in your 1 year cycle beginning to express themselves like a plant showing its leaves for the first time above ground. This is, therefore, the year in which you really begin to see your ideas showing their first sign of growth.

The creativity of your ideas begins to show. However, make sure your ideas are not too extravagant as there is a tendency for your ideas to be too creative during this year.

Grow your ideas as much as you can during this year and build a strong foundation in preparation for the next year, as it will be a test year.

This year is referred to as the year of expression, everything from art to love to relationships will grow this year. This is a time of new growth.

While this is, relatively speaking, a good year financially, this is not a good year to invest. It is better to save your money and/or to sell items you do not need, want or that can earn you some money.

This year can be very emotional and thus you need to strengthen your immune system. Cleanse the liver this year. Do pranayama breathing techniques to help your lungs. Skin problems can be problematic this year. Watch that you do not overindulge in food, especially in sweets and “comfort” foods.
